Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
I am a manager for a small company in Ohio, we recently terminated an employee and she is now suing the company for discrimation and retaliation. She is suing the company and the owners personally and is trying to sue me personally as her former manager. Can she sue me personally?

Dear Manager: Unfortunately, anyone may sue anyone else; however, the true test of any lawsuit depenfds upon whether (or not) the plaintiff can produce sufficient, credible evidence as admissible evidence to support the claims being made? Also, as a Manager, your employer should provide you with full liabilitycoverage and legal counsel to defend you against all such charges.
The former employee was terminated for cause, no doubt. That employee has a difficult problem anf high degree of proof required, to overcome the reasons for termination; if such termination was truly justified, and properly documented, there may be no basis for such claims of discrimination or retaliation.
