Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
i was offered a positon for a company and showed up for orientation, waited 1 hr and then was brought back in to tell me due to busness decision they had to decline the offer. is this legal

In the absence of a written employment agreement, "yes" it is legal. Did they lure you away from another position/job or did you forego any opportunities that are no longer there because of your commitment to this company? Likely won't matter and certainly doesn't make it "illegal" but might open the door for some minor value negotiation. Hope that helps. Ed 440-552-7063
