Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

Scheduled a vacation 2 months ago and right before I was in the emergency room diagnosed with pneumonia. I used sick time right before a vacation and now I am getting suspended. It is a rule that we can not use sick time before a vacation. I planned the vacation I did not plan getting pneumonia. Is there anything I can do?

If your work site has more than 50 employees, the Family and Medical Leave Act prohibits your suspension under these circumstances.
