What all shows up on an employment background check?

It depends on much your company is willing to spend.
It may show your entire criminal history including traffic violations. It may show any licenses you have such as driver's license, hunting license etc. It also may show your credit history and whether you pay your bills.
Some background checks will indicate the addresses in which you lived as well as the persons who lived with you.
