Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
I transferred to a different department within my company. In doing so meant a pay raise. Three/four months later they moved me back to my previous department. Eight months later, they just now reduced my wages from moving me back to my old job. Can they take away a raise after this amount of time gone by?

Unless you are in a union or have a contract, your employer is generally allowed to take any actions they wish, including reducing your compensation, firing, demoting, or promoting you. If the pay cut dropped you below minimum wage, that would be an issue. It may be bad form, but unless the minimum wage/overtime law/anti-discrimination law/contraction/union agreement were violated, there may be nothing, legally, you can do.
However, I don't know all the facts, and therefore cannot give you any specific legal advice for your situation.
