Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
unfair firing
I worked for a public agency for 14 years. I was terminated when a child died in our county. I believe that I was scapegoated. The county states I violated agency protocols and procedures, but are unable or unwilling to tell me what specifically. I am desperate. My name was released to the media and I was on TV and in every newspaper. I need help. I did call an employment attorney and he said it would cost $12,000 to see me through the appeal process. Where can I get help. My husband is employed so we are not eligible for any free services.

Re: unfair firing
Being a scapegoat seems to be the newest weapon to hide fault. I don't charge for first consultation.
