Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

Two Week Notice

I recently gave my two week notice and my boss let me go on the spot. She and her husband owned a dental practice and are now divorcing. He left the practice and went to another Dentist office. I was asked to come with him as a dental assistant. My old boss paid my remaining vacation time, but she took out $600 because the Insurance company requires a 30 day notice of termination. Is this legal as I was not terminated? In addtion, the finance manager told me I was considered an accomplice since I went to work with a Dentist who breeched his contract. Is this real? How can I be considered an accomplice when going to find another job. My old boss is bitter and taking her personal problems out on me. Do I have any legal rights in this matter?

Re: Two Week Notice

You were wrongfully discharged because your notice was accelerated.
