Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
I work for a non-profit hospice that has been experiencing financial difficulties. When I started, I was never given a offer letter, but they are making some changes to scheduling and mileage rates and gave everyone a "confirmation of employment" letter which outlined our unique situation. At the end of the letter was a place for us to accept or not and it sd that if we did not accept it would be considered vol resignation. If I choose not to accept, would I be eligible to collect unemployment?

If the language holds up as written you would not receive unemployment. However past practice may cause a grandfather effect that will protect the benefit.
