Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

i have worked for this company for 6 yrs. when i got hired in i received a employee handbook. when i moved about a year later, i must have lost it in the move cause i still cant find it. i had went to the office to get another one and they told me that they didnt have one that a new one was coming out soon. well they ended up closing that plant and offered me a job at one of thier other plants. so i went up there and went thru orientation and they told us that we would be receiving one soon that it was being revised. so now 6 yrs. later i still dont have one. I recently got fired because i got into an argument with a co worker. They told me that it was for "conflict with another employee" and then when i filed for unemployment they told them it was for "using profane language". so now im on my second appeal. i believe this falls under conduct but who knows. cause i dont remember anything in that employee hand book. its been 6 yrs. i also had about a yr. and a half ago i got wrote up for cell phone usage on the production floor. but that i dont gripe about because it was a new rule and i remember signing a paper on that. i believe that was under conduct too. and everyone that has been hired in in the past years havent recieved a handbook. so should i get a lawyer and fight this? cause how do u follow rules if they cant supply u with an employee handbook.

Your question has raised many other questions which should be posed to an employment attorney. Also, it is important that you get the attorney quickly to help you with the unemployment "appeal". Otherwise, it will be very difficult to get the decision reversed.
