Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
I am 20 years old and 7months pregnant. I am 1.5 months behind in my rent. Can my landlord tell me I have to be out by the end of the month in front of another tennant at 1am because said tennant wants my house? Can he come after me for back rent without an eviction notice and I didnt sign a lease? Can he ban me from the property when my mother lives there? Can he raise my neighbors rent if i move in with them when they dont have a lease stating he will raise rent if more people move in? What are my options?

If your landlord wants to evict you due to non-payment of rent your landlord has to give you proper notice of his intent. Traditionally, for those who have signed a lease and pay monthly, the landlord would need to post a 3-day notice on your door, after which he or she could file an eviction action in your local court.
Your landlord is probably trying to get you out without going through the proper legal channels because doing so is somewhat costly and time-consuming. An eviction can take anywhere from 1.5-2.5 months, depending on the locale. Its obviously quicker and cheaper for your landlord to try to get you out on their own, despite the fact that he or she isn't following the law.
The fact that you didn't sign a lease doesn't mean your landlord can't evict you or seek back rent - - but it also doesn't give him or her the right to remove you from the property without using the legal system.
