Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio

need help on how to enforce my tenants rights and receive money damages for non-repair. i won but did not receive what i was asking for. the lawyer kept saying even though i had damages it did not prevent me from habitating the home. the ceiling fail in and mold form from sitting water untreated or repaired for 2 yrs. i aso did not get out of pocket expences because i did not know how to ask for them. can some one please advise. i am still living in the unit
