Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
I was evicted in november 2011. i moved january 2012. my rent was 830 per month. i owed november december and january. the apartemnt was leased in february. i left the apt in good condition and asked management to do a walk through once i had removed my bleongings. they declined. now they are suing me for 7500. i didnt receive court papers due to new address. now i am being garnished. what can i do to dispute these actions as well as amount

In Ohio, if there was no proper service of process, then the court does not have jurisdiction over you. You can file a motion (either yourself or through an attorney) to set aside the garnishment and the judgment against you for the failure of service of process.
