Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
Hi...My Renters..Couple.. Have been in duplex almost 4 Years..Son Lived there finishing H.S. then was Supposed to Leave to Go to College or so Said when Signed lease....Did Not..Moved out Jan. 2014 and in With Girlfriend.. Split...Now is Moving Back In Without any Discussion..I Like these People ..But I live Next Door and Do NOT want 23 Year old Back in House ..Can I ask Him to Leave ???

In Ohio, you can evict the tenants if there is an unauthorized occupant living there. The better solution is to threaten this to the parents, telling them that you will evict everyone if the unauthorized occupant does not leave. With luck they will attend to the matter and continue to pay rent as the good tenants that they have been.
