Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
Landlord did not give an accounting regarding the security deposit within 30 days of us leaving the apartment. Now a year later they send us an accounting telling us they want to keep the deposit and we owe $100 more. Are they barred from seeking more money since they didn't send us an accounting within 30 days?

Possibly. What are they claiming that is damaged? Have they threatened a lawsuit yet?
