Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
I live in Cleveland Ohio and have an apartment with a lease. The renters agreement signed says the heat will be available from October 1st to May first. As of yesterday the heat has still not been turned on. Can I get out of my lease because of this and if so how?

In Ohio, if the landlord is not fixing things around the residential apartment, or is not abiding by the terms of the lease, and the tenant is current on his/her rent, then under Ohio Revised Code Section 5321.07, the tenant has certain remedies. A listing of these can be found for free at http://www.ohiolandlordtenant.com/faq1.html.
