Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
I live in a large apartment complex where they recently decided to re-pavement all of the parking areas. Before beginning this project, I received no notification of the upcoming work. Nothing in the mail box, no phone calls, no visible fliers or signs, nothing. While at work one day, my car was moved from in front of my townhouse to another area in the complex, again with no notification. After finding and moving my car to an area closer to my townhouse while the pavement in front of my townhouse finished drying, my car was moved without notification again the following day. The complex had my car towed and the towing company now demands ~ $300 to retrieve my car. Is it legal for them to have had my car towed without providing notification of the upcoming work or attempting to contact me?

No, they should have contacted you. I would not pay this debt and you could sue for the fact that they moved your car. I would be happy to assist you with this.
Feel free to contact me, free of charge, at [email protected] or at 330-447-7634. I am happy to help in any way that I can.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
