Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
I had an oral agreement with a tenant who rented a bedroom in my condo. I own the property and also live there, so a shared residence. She had use of the bedroom, bathroom and common areas. She moved out without giving notice, left behind personal property and refuses to return the key. Am I legally able to change the locks and remove her belongings from my residence?

In Ohio you would be safer to go through the statutory eviction process outlined in Ohio Revised Code 1923.04.
