Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
Tenant and small claims court
I recently had a family memeber renting my property. She moved out with 30 day notice, but never paid for the last month of rent. We had a lease with rent amount due, addresses and names but no signatures, do I have any right still to take her to small claims court, or am I pretty much SOL??

Re: Tenant and small claims court
You should still be able to take her to small claims court for breach of contract. However, if she didn't pay rent now you're probably going to have a difficult time collecting the amount owed.
