Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio
So I have a years lease in Columbus, Ohio. 6 months in I have been laid off. Ive been looking for jobs in Columbus, Ohio but could not find one so after 2 weeks of being unemployed I took a job that was 75 miles away. My new boss has a document stating all these facts. Am I able to get out of the lease with no fees due to the distance of my new job?

Ohio does not have a law that allows a tenant out of his/her lease simply because of job relocation. Some leases have this clause in them allowing the early out, but some don't. You should review your lease very carefully to see if there are ways written into the lease that you can take advantage of to get out of it.
