Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio
Is there a cap on awards in Ohio and how do I find a good attorney?
Is there a cap on malpractice awards in Ohio?
And, at this point, it looks like I'm going to need a good attorney. Through no fault of my own, I've been infected with a blood bourne disease that, if treatments fail, could result in having to have a liver transplant. It does not ever go away; it goes into remission, so this will affect the rest of my life.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Ohio recently passed caps on medical malpractice awards. The constitutionality of the caps are certain to be litigated.
