Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio
i understand about the one-year time limit to file against a dr. but what if you don't find out about a misdiagnosis until years later?

The one year statute of limitations begins to run when the doctor stops treating the patient or when the plaintiff knew or should have known of the malpractice. So, if you had no reason to think you were a victim of malpractice, and a "reasonable person" would have had no reason to believe they were a victim of malpractice the one year time limit would not have even started to run..
