Legal Question in Military Law in Ohio

rights for reservists called to active duty

My husband was terminated while on active duty callup. We handed in all orders and phoned company. Mostly concerned with health benefits. We continued to pay employee share of health insurance. Judging from the letter we received he was terminated the first day he was off.

Where are you located in Ohio? While I also practice in Ohio, if you are somewhere close to someone that I can hook you up with, I'll be happy to make a referral.

At this point, I cannot answer any of your questions nor could any other competent and ethical attorney. The "paperwork" from the Company needs to be reviewed. But two quick questions might help resolve this quickly.

1) Is your husband in the Reserves or National Guard?

2) What was the actual date that he was re-called to active duty?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
