Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio
Dragged 300 feet by brother attemting to steal parent's vehicle
A little less then a month ago my brother and mother were having an argument at my campground. He got upset and attempted to take their vehicle against their will. I was standing next to the car with the driver door open trying to talk him out of it. He hit the pedal and i grabbed onto him. He dragged me approx. 300 feet on a gravel road. I still have the scars clear as day. I didn't call the police or seek medical treatment at the time of the incident but now I want to file against him. I have no pictures but several witnesses. He is also known to be violent by hitting his girlfriend. Do I have a case?

Immediately notify the insurance company of the claim and document your claim/injuries as best you can. Pictures are always a good settlement brochure item. It's best to document these matters immediately, even if you don't want to pursue it, for just this reason; down the road, you change your mind. Best of luck.

It definitely sounds like you do have a claim but you need to file right away. Make sure you have pictures of your injuries taken.
