I recently bought a house. I allowed neighbor's kids to ride their bikes in my driveway because the previous owner allowed them and i have a daughter. I thought it's a good way to make nice with neighbors and allow my daughter to make friends as well. It's a large driveway and keeps kids off the streets. A neighbor girl was playing with my daughter and fell off my daughters scooter and scraped her nose pretty bad. Am i liable for the injuries to their child.

There is a certain assumption of the risk that the girl took in playing with the scooter. Unless they argue that there was something wrong with the scooter, or that some unusual condition of your property that caused it, i wouldnt think there is a valid claim against you.
