Physician-Patient Privilege

Scenario: A Therapist treats a paitient and finds her emotionally unstable. The patient leaves that Dr. and goes to a NEW one. Can the first Dr.volenteer to testify in court against he since she is no longer his patient? Or would this still be considered breaking the Physician/Patient Privilege?

Re: Physician-Patient Privilege

The first practitioner is still bound by the privilege. He or she cannot testify.
