Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

slip on my property

A person slipped on a rock path I have in my front yard and reportedly broke 5 bones in her foot. This is not the main walkway and constructed only to lead to my driveway. Can she sue me??

Re: slip on my property

Can she sue you? Yes. The real question is whether she has a good enough case to win. This really depends on specific facts, such as why was she there (was she trespassing or did you invite her, etc.), how dangerous was the walkway? How many people use it and don't get hurt? Was it obvious that the rock was there? These are just some examples of things that will end up deciding the case. You'd probably want to speak with an attorney for more precise advice. I don't know when this happened, but if the walkway is in the same condition as it was when she fell (with the rock there) take pictures of it for future reference.
