Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio
Slipped on slippery floor making a delivery at a business, what do I do?
Last night I fell down three stairs on a slippery floor at a hotel I was delivering a pizza to. I was really sore, but it didn't feel like an emergency situation. I filled out a report at the hotel and at work when I got back. I began stiffening up worse as the night wore on and tried to sleep, but it was hard. This morning I made an appointment to see my doctor, and they asked me about workman's comp.
I work for the pizza place part time and have a regular full-time job with benefits. If the injuries I have now are serious, who is responsible? The hotel? Or my employer through workman's comp? Also, how do I get compensated if I end up missing more work because of the injury.
To be specific, my left shoulder hurts so bad now I can barely raise the arm and certainly can't put any weight on it or carry anything with it. It hurts to even close my car door with it, I have to try to reach across. My left buttock is so sore I can't sit straight either.

If you were injured within the course and scope of your employment, then you have a BWC claim. You may also have a personal injury claim against the hotel, depending on the circumstances.
Your employer should have the forms necessary to begin your workers compensation claim.

You definitely need to see a doctor TODAY !
Don't worry about the bills at this point. You need to be fixed.
There are a lot of different issues, but there are some alternatives and entities you can sue for your damages
