Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio
sueing the one responsible for auto accident
i was in a car accident. the other driver was sighted her insurance company is paying for the towing and loss of my car. i don't have another vehicle to go to work and can't afford one right now. i wasn't injured in the accident but if i can't go to work i will lose my job. what if anything can i sue this woman personally for? i would like compensation for lost wages and time i had to take off from school and for all the aggrevation that we have had to endure. i have a wife and 2 kids and can't even get my daughter to school or even go to the store. i can't leave my house what do you suggest?

You absolutely need a car...so get one, rent or buy - understanding that sooner or later some insurance should cover it. Do you have underinsured or uninsured motorists policies? Check it out - call your insurance people immediately, and they will start working for you. Call me directly if you like: 216.952.1990.

I hope by now you are well on your way to resolving your accident claim! If you have not settled, you can call and discuss the issues that you raised in your question. There is no charge for a telephone conference and no obligation. In any event, it sounds like you had a pretty serious injury and it would be a good idea to talk to a lawyer before you settle. I have been representing injured people for over 30 years and would be glad to talk to you.
Good Luck
