Veterans Administration Hospitals

Can doctors working in VA hospitals be subject to lawsuits for medical negligence. This would concern a veteran, not a family member.

VA Doctors are subject to malpractice actions under the Federal Tort Claims Act, that is, the VA is subject to the claim, not the individual doctor.
