Legal Question in Product Liability in Ohio

Horrible allergic reaction to Laundry detergent.. skin painfully itchy and mental anguish..I am still inflammed through out my whole body going into the second month..I suffer from constant bleeding and itching with loss of sleep..creams and sleeping pills prescribed have only put a dent in my pain Laundry Detergent Company has refused to acknowledge my problem by only sending me a carbon copy response that is sent to all customer complaints. I have been to two doctors for this rash and itching and fear I am being left with first- no cure and second- permanent scarring.Do I have a case? if so how do I start..

The best thing for you to do is document everything. Write letters, take pictures of your skin as it gets worse or improves. Keep your records in good order in case you decide to hire an attorney to pursue your claim. Keep treating with your doctors.

Products liability cases are usually very complex and require expert testimony on a number of issues. As such, they can get quite costly very soon. You may have a case but of course it's way too early to tell. A lot of work would need to be done to determine how the detergent was made and the level of knowledge that the company had regarding the detergent products' dangerousness, etc.
