Eviction

We are going to court to answer to an eviction notice,

what can we expect? How long will we have to vacate

our home, we had a Land Contract agreement.

Re: Eviction

First if you have paid 20% or more of the principal or lived in the premises in excess of 5 years then the Vendor must foreclose and the eviction will be dismissed.

If the eviction goes forward and you are ordered out of the property, then you will have approximately 10 days to vacate.

If you have a land contract and you have paid a certain percentage of the total purchase price, then the owner must file for foreclosure on you. The eviction would in that case be dismissed.
