Re: foreclosure

Dear Inquirer: I am sincerely sympathetic with your problem

Foreclosure proceedings may be resolved in several ways. First, by payment of all delinquencies, additional charges, interest, etc. Bankruptcy filing, either Chapter 7 or 11, or 13, will absolutely stop all legal proceedings against the debtor in its tracks, immediately upon filing for bankruptcy protection; however such stay operates only for a year or two, until the Court grants the lender relief and permission to go forward with the foreclosure, which will be granted upon proper, timely application.

Consult a knowl;edgable, experienced Attorney ASAP to guide advise and assist you. If you can't afford an Attorney, call the local Bar Association and ask that they assign you an Attorney, without charge, or call your local Legal Aid office for assistance. Do not delay and do not attempt to resolve this alone.

Good luck and Godspeed.

Sincerely,

J. Norman Stark
