Re: foreclosure

You have to be joined in the foreclosure to lose your interest.

When a foreclosure is filed, a title report is required so that all parties with an interest in the property are joined in the foreclosure.

You lose your interest if you are a party to the foreclosure and fail to assert your claim in the court proceeding, or your lien attaches after the foreclosure is started and you do not get the court's permission to intervene and state your interest.
