Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

which form do I use?

I live in virginia but i'm trying to purchase a house in Ohio, and i'm in the process of siging power of attorney over to my mother, so that she can sign/purchase the house for me in my name in the state of ohio. My question is will i use the Virginia power of attorney form or the Ohio power of attorney form because the house will be purchase in the state of Ohio???

Most likely, you should use the form for the state in which the POA will be properly executed and notarized(if required)which would appear to be Virginia.

However, it would likely be advisable for you to double check with a Ohioan legal authority knowledgeable regarding such land conveyances to determine whether a Ohio POA form might be required or whether it makes any difference at all.
