Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Home buyer weaseling-out on the purchase contract

Buyers cancelled the home inspection because they have changed their mind on buying the house (they want a different floorplan). They have several escape clauses in the contract, but they did not activate any of them, and the time period for doing so has expired. We have received nothing in writing that they want out of the contract(as required). I don't want their earnest money; I want them to complete their contractual obligations and close on the property. Will a judge let them off the hook because they are only in their mid-20s and ''we changed our mind your honor''?

You need to contact a real estate attorney for review of your situation. Generally, the contractual document (and timeframes)will control. What happens in court is why you need to talk with an attorney.
