How to home rental

We currently own and occupy our own home and are wanting to move to Kentucky to attend Bible school for 3 years and instead of selling we wanted to know what steps we need to take to rent it out for this time instead. We could probably sell now and pretty much break even but if we waited it would probably help us to get out of debt completely with maybe some profit . We thank you for your time.

The hardest part will be to find a good tenant. Once you do then you need to obtain a security deposit and prepare a lease.
