Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Home sale to a foundation or non profit organization

I own a beautiful home in a affluent village that has been a retreat to many who have stayed here. Unfortunately I can no longer afford to financially keep it. I would like to sell it to a foundation or non profit organization that helps woman and children, as I at one time have been on that side of the fence.

I have a beautiful 9 year old dauhter who has did volunteer work with me since the age of 4. If we can do this I would like her name affiliated with this home. Are we able to work with this idea?

Re: Home sale to a foundation or non profit organization

Identify one or more foundations/non-profits to which you would consider selling the property. Make an appointment to speak with them and explain your wishes. Before you transfer/sell the property, be sure to consult an attorney of your own to make sure your interests (besides the use of your daughter's name) are protected. Good luck.
