Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Homeower wants to remove housemate

I bought a home a couple of years ago and had a friend that needed a place to live move into the upstairs. Two months ago I gave her both a written and verbal notice saying that she must move out by the 15th of May. My question is, on the 15th can I just lock the doors and not let her back into the house? What procedures do I do need to follow to dispose of anything left upstairs and how can I recover my loses on things that have been damaged.

Re: Homeower wants to remove housemate

If the tenant is not move out, unfortunately, you will have to serve him with a three day notice and evict him through the court system.

Hopefully, he will voluntarily move out
