Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Land contract Person buying property puts a driveway in and doesn't pay contractor in full. Owner taking property back due to non payment of said propery. Is land owner responsible to finish paying contractor for job?

Dear Property Owner: Unfortunately, the property owner is responsible for paying for the new driveway, since it is a benefit, betterment and improvement to your property. You may also make a claim against the renter/land contractor for payment as a part of the purchase price. You'll have to amend the land contract accordingly, and in writing, singed by all parties to the land contract.
