Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Landlord and Tennants Rights

We currently are renting to own a home. We moved here in mid October 2006. The weather has improved and my husband went to put the screens in and found we were 3 short plus a sliding door screen. We contacted the landlord and he sent an email ''if you want to purchase the screens it will be at your own expense I will not reimburse you or buy them on your behalf''. Do we have a leg to stand on... we haven't ''bought'' the house yet we are RENTING.

Re: Landlord and Tennants Rights

As with so many of these questions, the answer lies in the contract. Without seeing your contract, any answer to this question will be a guess. My "guess" is the screens missing will be your expense if you want them.
