Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

what are the laws with painting upon exiting of a tenent

I live in Medina, Ohio and I just recently moved out of my apartment. While going through the exiting with the apartment manager she told me I would have to clean the marks of the walls cause by couch, chair etc. I did this and she is still telling me they were bad enough that they will have to paint all the walls again at $50 a wall! This were just marks that could come off with a little elbow grease and I got them all. Isn't there some kind of law that landlords have to follow as far as how often they paint anyways? I heard it was ever time a tenent moved out someone please help me I can't find anything. I got smart and took pictures of the place after I cleaned the walls so if I have to will they stand up in court? hopeless in Medina

The tenant is responsible for all damages over and above usual wear and tear on the premises. If the landlord tries to keep your security deposit, you may be entitled to double damages for the amount wrongfully withheld and attorney fees.
