Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio
I owned a house with my long time girlfriend, now we've broken up. I'm still making payments on the property, even though I have legally waived my rights to enter the house, since I have not been there in 18 months. I am still helping to make payments. Can I have my name removed from the Mortgage without a legal battle?

The only way to get your name removed from the mortgage would be for your girlfriend to refinance the house in just her name.
