Dear Widower: You may be required to file a petition (application) with the Probate Court of your County for determination of your late spouse's estate and to have her 1/2 of the value transferred to you. If there are any cjhildren born of your marriage, they are entitled to a portion of her half of the property as well, according to a Probate Schedule. Or, they can waive their inheritance in your favor.

I suggest you contact and retain an experienced Attorney to assist and guide you through this procedure. You can't do this without experienced legal counsel to advise you.
