power of attorney can i.....
I have power of attorney for a family member can i sell the property to myself for a dollar. or transfer it some other way to me.

That depends entirely on the language of the power of attorney. Even if the document allows same, the document must be recorded before the property can be transferred. You should also be aware that other relatives of the principal may have legal standing to have the transfer voided by a judge.
