put my son on property deed what form of deed do i need

It depends on what you want to do. If you want your son to receive your property at your death then you need a transfer on death deed.
If you want to add him as a joint tenant then you would use a quit claim deed. Adding someone as a joint tenant has some real problems. So I would consult with an attorney before doing this.
