Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio
Do real estate agents have a fiduciary duty to inform buyer of home in a Trust of the legal issues surrounding possible fraud of information.
1 Answer from Attorneys
Absolutely Not!!! Realtors may not provide legal advice; that 's the duty of the Attorney. And, if there is any fraud, whether actual, suspected, or obvious, in the transaction, your Attorney should be retained ASAP. The buyer has the obligation to use prudence and reasonable due diligence in all real estate purchases. Experienced Attorneys are valuable in providing guidance and expertise in these matters. It pays.
Good luck.
