Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio
I recently built a new home in Ohio and the company that did our insulation filed a lien on my home. How long is the lien for and what are my rights as the home owner?

I'm assuming this is a mechanics lien because the job performed was not paid for. The lien exists as long as the debt remains outstanding. In the event the house is sold, any unresolved debt is paid out of the proceeds of the sale.
