Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Removing Lawsuit from Court Records

We had a summary judgment against us on a lawsuit 14 years ago regarding a residential property disclosure. We sued the previous owner for latent defects and lost, in part, because our attorney repeatedly did not reply to various motions. My question is, can we have the lawsuit removed from court records? If so, what is the procedure? Thanks in advance.

Re: Removing Lawsuit from Court Records

The lawsuit is a public record and will never be removed from the court records. As you were a plaintiff when you lost, this should not affect your credit.
