Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio
selling our house
We recently put our house on the market. I was told that during the period of time where it is on the market we may not have to pay the house payment or at least the principle. Is this true?

Re: selling our house
Dear Sellers: You must continue to pay your house payments (mortgage), insurance, taxes, and utilities, until your home is sold and title actually passes by recording in the County Recorder's official records.
There is no "free ride", unless you wish to be found in default of your mortgage and then all of the obligation (mortgage amoint / debt) becomes due at once, together with penalties, late fees, and who knows whatever...!!!
Good luck.
Sincerely, J. Norman Stark!
