Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

"I sold a mobile home in march of 2010 and signed a notarized title over to the buyers, and they have yet to transfer it into their name. Now i am receiving tax bills on the home. We have asked them several times to complete this with no results. What are my rights?

You should probably contact the BMV immediately and inform them that you no longer own the mobile home. Even though the purchasers have not registered the mobile home, you can still DEregister the vehicle in your name by providing a bill of sale or a copy of the notarized transfer. If Ohio continues to hold you responsible for the tax bills, you can probably sue the purchaser for the amount you had to pay. By notifying the BMV of the sale date, they may no longer hold you responsible for the taxes, however. Please keep me informed of what happens. I would like to know.
